The Best Budget phone of the year has given great competition for Samsung galaxy S7/S7 edge, HTC 10, LG G5 and Won the 1st place in terms of GeekBench 3 and Antutu Benchmark results.
Firstly, the phone came with 3.2.0 Oxygen OS which has suffered from Ram Management issues later OnePlus has rolled out 3.2.1, this major update has fixed Ram Management issues, 1 week later again they have rolled out 3.2.2 in which pocket mode and sRBG color mode are added.
Apart from these fixes and addition of new features, its performing impeccable well in terms of Camera, Battery, Ram Management.
Battery:
Because of its good Ram Management Battery Drain is minimal, Screen on time is more than 5 hrs with heavy usage.
Camera:
OnePlus 3 features a 16MP rear camera with Sony PDFA sensor and a stunning 8MP front camera.
Oneplus has packed a ton of features in camera, including Face Detection Auto Focus, OIS(optical image stabilization), EIS(electronic image stabilization).
The front cam is simply dazzling, and is a huge step up from most of the smartphones which offer mediocre front shooter. when comes to low light situations, the sensor struggles a bit, but still produces decent result.
DashCharging:
Thanks for DashCharging, its simply stunning feature, it just takes 30 mins to go upto 63% and 70 mins to fully charge(100%), while other competitors take 80-90 mins to fully charge.
Display:
The display, while not QHD, is bright, vivid and punchy, with great sunlight legibility.
